The Lewes Historical Society is celebrating the 54th Anniversary of its Outdoor Antiques Show on August 5, 2017, at The Lewes Historical Society Campus at 110 Shipcarpenter Street, Lewes, Delaware. The show begins at 9:00am and lasts until 4:00pm, general admission is $5.00, and children under 12 are free. The proceeds benefit the Society and are used in educational and preservation programming.

Lewes Historical Society: 2017 Cannonball 5K Run & Trenny Elliott Memorial Walk @ he Lewes Historical Society Campus

“The Most Beautiful Race Course in Delaware”:  The Lewes Historical Society is proud to present the 14th Cannonball 5K Run & Trenny Elliott Memorial Walk in 2017 on Sunday, September 10.  Online pre-registration is available via Seashore Striders.  “Day of” registration begins at 7:30am on the race day.  Beginning at 8:30am at The Lewes Historical Society Campus (110 Shipcarpenter Street), the race benefits the Society’s preservation and educational programming.

The race is designed to be a tour of historic Lewes – the course includes breath-taking scenery along Pilottown Road, and views of the Great Marsh, Shipcarpenter Square, Second Street, and the Lewes & Rehoboth Canal. A description of the historic sites along the race route is included in your registration papers.

Lewes Historical Society: 2017 Lewes Fall Craft Fair @ Lewes Historical Society Complex

Fall in Lewes means the Summer Craft Fair brought to you by The Lewes Historical Society. The 2017 Fall Craft Fair is on Saturday, September 30, from 9:00am until 4:00pm at the Historic Campus at Second & Shipcarpenter Streets in downtown Lewes.  Admission to the festival is $5 per person each day, to be paid at the gate; children under 12 are free. Proceeds from this event will benefit educational and preservation programs at The Lewes Historical Society.
